Went by UCSD for the MFA art show. My friend Mike made a painting that's pretty crazy. I actually assisted on some of it.

Last week's Get Fuzzy saga with "Filthy Frazier" was pretty awesome. The last two parts were really great. Click to read them:

Thanks to everyone who came to MegaCon! I posted some photos in the photo section. Thanks to Colin, Hugo, and my brother Rob for the help. I just realized that Rob is an anagram for "bro." What would be really cool is if I had a brother named Orb. Then my "bro Orb" would be an anagram AND a palindrome.
My friend Jen got a chuckle out of the "enemies space" on the front page here. She said myspace is kinda evil and wondered can myspace be an enemy on myspace? I said if you put myspace as its own enemy the whole world will collapse into a black hole. It's kind of like putting a Flash movie clip inside itself.

A couple weeks ago a group of us trekked 30 miles out to east San Diego county. Check out the pics:
Update on the new short: it's now back to being around five minutes long, which probably means it'll be done mid to late summer at the earliest. The good news is it's rolling along though. Here's a couple more stills from the story reel:
I'll be at APE in two weeks. Hope to see some of you there!

Greetings in 2006! FotP is on hold as I've begun work on a NEW ANIMATED SHORT! The plan was a five minute short, but the writing got out of control and it started getting really long, which would have taken years to complete. SO, I think it will be broken up into a few 2-3 minute shorts, and the first one will probably be here in MARCH. But as usual that depends on my financial state and I live in the worst possible place in the world for keeping afloat financially.
I'll be exhibiting at (Conan nerd voice) nnnnnn MegaCon in Orlando Feb. 24-26.
I'll also be at Alternative Press Expo in San Fran April 8-9.
You can view a still from the story reel of the new KnM short here.

THREE new episodes of Fellowship of the Parakeet (25, 26, 27)! When we last left Kleeman and Mike they had inadvertently caught a whale using the anchor of the submarine operated by Captain Nono. I recommend starting with episode 24.

It's Veteran's Day, so go honor a vet! Right now!
The day was originally called "Armistice Day" in honor of the end of fighting of "the war to end all wars"- World War I. The armistice came at the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, 1918. In 1954, Congress changed the name of the Nov. 11 holiday to "Veteran's Day" to honor American veterans of all wars. more history from Dept. of Veteran's Affairs:
In November 1919, President Wilson proclaimed November 11 as the first commemoration of Armistice Day with the following words: "To us in America, the reflections of Armistice Day will be filled with solemn pride in the heroism of those who died in the country’s service and with gratitude for the victory, both because of the thing from which it has freed us and because of the opportunity it has given America to show her sympathy with peace and justice in the councils of the nations…"
From the 1926 Congressional resolution recognizing the day:
Whereas the 11th of November 1918, marked the cessation of the most destructive, sanguinary, and far reaching war in human annals and the resumption by the people of the United States of peaceful relations with other nations, which we hope may never again be severed, and
Whereas it is fitting that the recurring anniversary of this date should be commemorated with thanksgiving and prayer and exercises designed to perpetuate peace through good will and mutual understanding between nations; and
Whereas the legislatures of twenty-seven of our States have already declared November 11 to be a legal holiday: Therefore be it Resolved by the Senate (the House of Representatives concurring), that the President of the United States is requested to issue a proclamation calling upon the officials to display the flag of the United States on all Government buildings on November 11 and inviting the people of the United States to observe the day in schools and churches, or other suitable places, with appropriate ceremonies of friendly relations with all other peoples.

Hugo's friend has a band that did a special show I wish I could've seen. All your favorite Smiths songs sung in the style of The Misfits. Pretty awesome. Check out
Sorry I've been out of touch. Been trying to find a new place to live. My friend Dave has been cool enough to let me stay at his place for a bit. So I'm moving to Vista. Anyone want to help me move tomorrow? Anyone want to put up my little kitty cat for a bit?
There will be new KnM eventually. Here's a recent sketch though:
